The world where I live — entertainment
Tooradin is a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it hamlet known for, well, I’ve never really known, but everyone loves Tooradin, regardless.
If I wanted, and note that I said ‘if’, I could go to the Tooradin tractor pull.
I don’t know what happens at a tractor pull: do tractors pull heavy things, or do people pull tractors in flabbergasting feats of strength? I’m curious but not sure I want to go and find out — 12 hours of truckin’ and tractorin’ entertainment sounds a bit too strenuous for me.

We went past that last year on the South Gippsland Highway; a minor traffic jam with cars parked along the highway for several hundred metres.
Should I tell me pre-teen boy?

ha ha ha! I’ve often wondered what they do at such events. Tooradin has a nice little airfield and a nice pub from memory.

You should delete the pre-teen boy on my behalf to report on such intriguing cultural matters.
Oh yeah, I forgot about the airfield. I had to do some calculations once to see if a Hercules could be landed there … I believe the recommendation was not to try.
