I appear to have missed this post. But here I am only 2 months late!

I often wonder if guys have to think about where they walk and when, or if they just do it because they don’t get the grief that women can. I used to walk the streets of central London alone at night, not sure if that was bold or stupid. I never had an issue however.

I couldn’t think of many more frustrating things than losing my purse so I’m finally glad I played it safely.

You played it sensibly safe. I’m a bloke and would have done much the same thing (only I don’t have a mobile, so pretending to make a call would have been more difficult, but I walk really fast so I would have crossed the road and then probably simply outpaced him).

That said, as a fella who walks fast, I am aware that I probably do spook women on footpaths as I catch up and overtake them. I often cross the road to avoid coming up behind women walkers for that reason.

Thanks, Fen. I’m kind of better now but my stomach still feels overly-full, even after a tiny meal.

Hi comrade, I wish there was a buffet at home every morning. Porridge with fruit and nuts isn’t doing it for me any more!

Euro breakfasts rock, and I loved an Asian-style buffet when I stayed in a hotel in Potts Point once. I forgot to take a pic of the cake for breakfast one morning *drools too*.

I looooove European breakfasts. My ex was Macedonian and on weekends he used to do the whole fresh bread + all the other stuff. My goodness. Amazing. *drools on self*

Comrade, many might agree to throwing a big net over Frankston! Or even a few stickers around the train station area for the more conservative approach .

Fen, I’ve never lost or broken a phone before so inevitable I smash a phone I’ve only had a fortnight and just set up how I like. I’m glad yours is OK!

The decals are a neat idea, not so fond of the nets!
Bugger about your phone though. I fell over today and managed not to smash the living daylights out of my phone that I was carrying (no pockets). Phew!
